Diploma in Game Design
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with minimum 3 credits (3Cs); OR
- Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with minimum 3 credits (3Bs); OR
- Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) (Level 3, MQF) in related field subject; OR
- Pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0; OR
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subjects; OR
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; AND
Pass an interview or an assessment of a portfolio conducted by The One Academy.
Note: Exemptions for interview or portfolio review requirements may be granted to candidates with valid academic qualifications in the relevant field.
Diploma in Computer Science
- Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with minimum 3 credits (3Cs) including a credit in Mathematics; OR
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
- Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with minimum 3 credits (3Bs) including a credit in Mathematics; OR
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
- Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) (Level 3, MQF) in related field subject; OR
- Pass in any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the Certificate programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.
Candidates with a credit in computing-related subject at SPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
International students are subject to meet entry requirements that reflect similar qualifications and experience as stated above.
- SPM (GCE O-Level English 1119): Grade C
- O-Level / IGCSE English: Credit
- UEC English: B3
- IELTS (Academic): 6.5
- TOEFL: 79 internet-based
- PTE Academic: 58 overall (with no individual score below 50)
- Cambridge English: 176 or more, with no skill score below 169
- MUET: Band 4 (no less than 200 in aggregated score)
- Completion of four years of high school at an international school where the primary language of instruction is English
- TOEFL: 80 internet-based
- IELTS (Academic): 6.5
- Cambridge English: Advanced score of C1 or higher
**Sejarah (History) is a compulsory subject to pass in SPM starting 2013.
**Students must satisfy the stipulated English Language requirement before pursuing the programmes at DigiPen The One Academy.

If you have completed other courses or modules at another institution, you may be eligible to apply for credit transfer. Credit transfer are given based on subject-to-subject mapping according to guidelines provided by MOHE / MQA.
Credit transfer will be assessed by the Head of Department and in consultation with DigiPen USA. Please include full information of your prior studies and attach relevant transcripts, portfolios and other evidence of your studies. Please contact the Student Registration Office (SRA) to discuss any aspect of the application process that you are unsure about and to arrange for a visit.
